Estimated savings

How this is calculated

Spending less isn't saving.

Cut the budget and spend drops. But if customers dropped too, you saved nothing.

Example
$2,780
“saved”, on a dashboard that only counts lower spend
18 %
fewer customers behind that number

figure, with no period and no method

Three numbers.|Never added together.

  1. EstimateBefore the change

What the proposal should save. Labeled as an estimate.

  2. What spend didAfter the change

Shown apart. On its own it proves nothing.

  3. What was measuredWith proof

Only with real proof. Otherwise it stays empty.

Your part: Read the number

Cumulative savings

Example
MayJunJulAugSepEstimatedMeasured
Measured apart from estimated. Only measured counts.

Every number shows how we got there.

A small number you can defend beats a big one you can't.

  • Only if customers held

Stopped waste counts only if leads didn't drop.

  • Real sales only

    Never an add-to-cart.

  • Losses count too

A change that hurt is logged just like a win.

$1,520Measured savings

Measured savings stay empty until there's proof. Estimates are never added to them.

Why is my measured savings total empty?

Measured savings need a valid experiment or causal design and enough mature data. Until then, Taseli shows estimates in their own total rather than calling them measured.

Is the estimate a promise?

No. It's what a change is expected to save, with the method shown. Results can differ, and the ledger records what actually happened.

Do you count brand growth as savings?

No. Changes on campaigns that involve your brand are also calculated without brand traffic. Growth your brand earned on its own isn't ours.

Can I show this to a client or my boss?

Yes. The ledger appears in weekly and monthly reports and in the agency client portal, with its labels, period and baseline.

What's a holdout?

An optional experiment in which part of the account is left unchanged for comparison. It never holds back critical alerts, security checks or quiet windows.

Taseli does the work. You make the call.
