Do rule actions apply automatically?

Only if that change type is on autopilot and the action is inside your caps. Otherwise each action becomes a proposal waiting for your approval.

How often do rules run?

Once a day on Starter, every hour on Pro (stop-loss rules every 15 minutes), and every 15 minutes on Agency.

What can a rule do?

Pause or enable, change a budget by amount or percentage, change a bid target, add negative keywords, or simply notify you.

I already use Google Ads rules or scripts. Is that a problem?

Only if they act on the same items. When two mechanisms pause the same thing, neither knows how to bring it back, so Taseli shows the overlap and you choose.
