Negative keyword list
Negative keywords for renovation and contractors.
Stop paying for DIY, job seekers and course hunters.
Jump to the copy-ready listRenovation searches mix three audiences: homeowners ready to hire, people who want to do the job themselves, and people looking for work in the trade. Only the first one pays. Broad match and AI Max happily serve your ads to all three, because the words overlap: “tile installation”, “how to tile a bathroom” and “tile installer jobs” look similar to a matching system.
This list removes the second and third audiences before they click. It’s written for contractors who sell the job, not the materials, and for both Hebrew and English campaigns.

How to read the list
Each list is grouped by the kind of search it removes: jobs and careers, free and do-it-yourself, courses and education, and research or other intent. Every industry page also lists the words you should not exclude, because in that industry they belong to buyers.
- plain word = negative broad: blocks searches containing all its words, in any order
- "quoted" = negative phrase: blocks searches containing the words in this order
- [bracketed] = negative exact: blocks only that exact search
