Proposals and restore

How restore works

Every applied change is monitored. Learn when Taseli restores previous settings automatically, how to restore manually, and the 30-day limit.

After a change runs, Taseli watches the metric it could hurt. If the result crosses a line, supported settings go back to what they were, and you're told what, when and why. You can also restore by hand for 30 days.

Automatic restore: the guards

Change typeWindowRestored when
Budget increase72 hoursCPA in the window is more than 1.35× the baseline, with at least ₪200 spend in the window
tCPA / tROAS change7 daysConversions are below 60% of the forecast, after at least 3 full days
Pausing an ad, keyword or group72 hoursCampaign conversions dropped more than 25% from the baseline
Adding negatives7 daysImpressions dropped more than 40% and conversions dropped more than 20%
Adding keywords7 daysThe new keywords spent more than ₪300 with no conversion

Shekel thresholds are converted to your account currency. The baseline is the average of the same weekdays over the previous four weeks.

Why it waits before judging

Conversions arrive late. Taseli judges a window only after it closes plus at least five more days. A 72-hour window is first judged around day 8.

No automatic restore when

  • there was too little data (under ₪100 spend in the window). The result is marked inconclusive.
  • conversion tracking is broken on the account.
  • conversions dropped across the whole account, even in campaigns Taseli didn't touch, while clicks and landing-page views held steady. That points at the site, so you get a site alert instead.

When it restores

You get a calm notice: “Previous settings restored automatically: X, at time, because Y. Spend before the restoration is not recovered. You can reapply the change with one click.” It links to the change history and offers “Reapply”.

Restore manually

  1. Open the proposal page

    Go to /app/[ws]/proposals/[id].
  2. Click “Restore previous settings”

Owners, admins and managers can do this for 30 days, for change types that support it.
  3. Taseli checks, then restores

It rechecks access and whether anyone changed the same settings since.

Troubleshooting

The restore button is missing. The change is over 30 days old, its type can't be restored, or your role can't restore. After 30 days, create a reverse proposal by hand.

Some items were not restored. See What cannot be restored.

A rule keeps getting restored. A rule that caused three automatic restores in a week is paused and marked for review.
