Quiet windows for Shabbat and holidays
Pause ads before Shabbat or a holiday and bring back only what Taseli paused. Modes, timing, campaign scope and what to check before you enable it.
Quiet windows pause your ads before Shabbat or a holiday and resume them after. Taseli resumes only what it paused itself; anything you paused by hand stays paused.
Times are worked out for the location you choose, for each date, including daylight saving and the holiday calendar.
Before you enable it
- Turn off overlapping platform rules. If a Google rule or script already pauses at the same hours, you can't enable quiet windows until it's off. Taseli shows you the list.
- Check accounts for other markets. An Israeli business advertising in the Gulf from an account in another time zone may not need Shabbat pauses there. Pick campaigns one by one for mixed markets.

On Google, Taseli creates one proposal with an ad schedule per campaign for Shabbat; holidays are paused and resumed.
During a window
- Pause and resume run as policy-approved changes at top priority and go into the change log.
- A holiday next to Shabbat makes one continuous window.
- Rules don't run inside a window and never re-enable what it paused.
- Alerts leave the window out of their baseline. The evening after reopening has its own baseline, but absolute spend caps and critical alerts stay on.
- The monthly budget forecast counts only hours outside quiet windows.
Troubleshooting
A campaign didn't resume after Shabbat. Someone else paused it, or it changed hands during the window. Taseli resumes only its own pauses; anything unclear waits for you.
Enabling is blocked. A Google rule pauses the same campaigns. Two systems on one campaign means neither knows how to bring it back. Turn it off in Google Ads, then try again.
The times look off. Check the location. Times come from the chosen city, not the account's time zone.
