Getting started
The free audit, explained
What the account audit checks, how the 0–100 score and the estimated money at risk are calculated, and how to turn a finding into a fix.
On this page
The audit checks your Google Ads account and gives you a score from 0 to 100, an estimate of money at risk per month, and fixes sorted by money. It changes nothing.
It covers conversion tracking, structure, search terms, keywords, ads, bids and budget, Performance Max, targeting, landing pages, policy and account security. The checks are fixed code that reads data Taseli already synced.
Run the free audit
Click “Check my account for free”
It's on/audit.Connect Google Ads
Sign in with Google, then connect (see Connect Google Ads).Select one account
The audit usually takes about 3 minutes and shows what it's checking as it goes.Read the report
You get the score, the money at risk, the five most valuable fixes, and what Taseli would do on autopilot.
Read the audit screen
In the app it lives at /app/[ws]/accounts/[id]/audit:
- Header: score, money at risk per month, audit date and “Run again”.
- “Fix first”: the five findings worth the most, each with “Create fix”.
- Categories: pass, warn and fail per category.
- Comparison: the score against the last audit, and what got better or worse.
How the numbers work
- Score: each check has a weight. Pass counts fully, warning half, fail zero. Checks that don't apply or failed to run are left out.
- Money at risk: an estimate based on the spend each finding touches. Spend shared by two findings counts once in the headline.
- History: performance checks need enough history and spend. A new account (say, 10 days of data) shows them as not applicable; structure and security checks still run.
Turn a finding into a fix
- 1Click “Create fix”
- 2Taseli writes a proposal
- 3You approve it
For example: negatives for four wasteful terms, at campaign level, exact match. Review it in Proposals.
On the free plan the audit is read-only and runs monthly. “Fix with approval” starts a 14-day trial with no card: Pro for businesses, Agency for agencies.
Troubleshooting
A finding doesn't fit my business. Mark it “Not relevant to me”. It stays muted for that account until you undo it.
A new free audit showed the old report. One full free audit runs per account every 30 days.
“Run again” is unavailable. In the app you can run it once an hour. It also runs on its own every day.
