Connect Claude or ChatGPT (MCP)

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client to Taseli, choose read or propose access, approve changes in Taseli, and revoke tokens.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini or another MCP client to Taseli's MCP server, and ask it about your accounts. Every change an assistant makes is a proposal that waits for approval in Taseli, under the same caps and policy as everything else.

What you need

  • Reading through MCP: Pro or Agency.
  • Creating proposals through MCP: the Power/MCP add-on, which also adds free-form read-only Google Ads queries and extra credits.

Connect

  1. Add a custom connector

    In Claude it's under Settings › Connectors; in ChatGPT, look for apps or connectors (menu names change from time to time).

  2. Enter the server address

    https://taseli.co.il/api/mcp

  3. Sign in to Taseli

    Choose the workspace.

  4. Approve the access

    mcp:read reads accounts, performance, audit findings, alerts, search terms, pacing and change history; mcp:propose creates proposals.

  5. Try it

    Ask: “What did my account spend this week, and which search terms wasted money?”

How approval works

The assistant gets a link to Taseli's approval page. Nothing changes in Google yet. Some assistants show the card in the chat too, but approval still happens on Taseli's page.

Want some assistant changes to run alone? Set that change type to autopilot in Taseli's policy. Assistants also have their own caps: a maximum daily budget change, a maximum number of proposals per hour, and one change per item per 24 hours.

Tokens and access

  • A token is tied to you and one workspace and lasts 30 days.
  • See and revoke tokens in Settings › “MCP” (/settings/mcp): client, created, last used, “Revoke”.
  • Owners and admins manage all tokens; managers their own; analysts get read-only tokens.
  • Reads don't use AI credits, because your assistant does the work. Running a playbook does.

Troubleshooting

It stopped working after a month. The 30-day token expired. Reconnect.

Too many requests. The limit is 60 calls per minute and 2,000 per day per token.

The assistant says it approved a change. It can't. The proposal stays pending until you approve in Taseli.
